Ode to a Rose
Stem and thorns yet completely harmless,
Peddles soft and smooth,
Strong but delicate,
Smells sweet and refreshing,
All alone in a garden,
You brighten up the night,
In the morning dew you glow,
With radiance so enchanting,
As the sun rests upon your leaves,
So majestic and proud,
Soaking in the sun’s rays for food,
Your roots long and thin in search of nutrients in the soil,
In winter you will pass away,
Autumn you are still gone,
Spring you are reborn,
And summer you will stay,
You come in various colors,
Different sizes too,
Whether in a pot or in the ground,
You are beautiful either way,
While bees are attracted to your nectar,
I am attracted to you beauty,
Your pollen spreads you far and wide,
Across towns and cities,
Beginning a new generation of your kind.

peom, different but i really like it.
This was very well written. I'm typically not a huge fan of poetry, but I enjoyed reading this very much, particularly the end about creating the next generation.
