Taco Bell removed green onions from all 5,800 of its restaurants Wednesday after tests linked them to the E. coli bacteria. State and federal investigators also are checking other non-meat ingredients on the Taco Bell menu, such as cheese, lettuce, yellow onions and tomatoes, as they try to pin down the source. At least 46 confirmed cases of E. coli sickness linked to Taco Bell have been reported in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Question 1: I think that all Taco Bell restaurants should shut down untill all the E-Coli is removed! It is not sanitary, and all the Taco Bell restaurants should shut down just for percaution. After all, know one wants to get sick!
Question 2: I think that it depends on the person whether to sue or not to sue Taco Bell regarding them getting sick. I feel that if they want to sue them, they should because everything should have been clean, and E-Coli free!!
Question 1.Taco Bell should shut down until all bacteria is gone because you never know, if there is E-Coli there can be other bacterias in the foods. There putting Taco Bell on the line if they don't shut the resteraunts down.
Question 2.I think the people should sue Taco Bell because it is Taco Bell's fault for having E-Coli in there foods. It is not fair that people are getting sick because of unhealthy foods at Taco Bell.
1. The taco bells with E-coli should definetly be shut down because you just can't take a chance of people getting sick from the bacteria.
2.It depends if you really think that you are being endangered by the bacteria and you think the restaraunt is not handling the problem safely than they would probably sue.
1)Yes I think all the taco bells should close because the e-coli could kill or get millions of people sick. They will loose alot of sells and if they do sell they could get sue.
2)Thats true if you are to sue anyone it would be the factory in california who made the mistake in the first place.
No i dont think the restaurants should close because its food and if you decide to eat from there then thats your choice and it depends on who the person is to sue Taco Bell.
Question 1: I think that all of the Taco Bell restaurants should be shut down imediatly until all the E-Coli is removed as abz said. Its not a clean restaurant for children and adults to be eating in. This E-Coli sounds bad and may ruin Taco Bells reputation for good/
Question 2:I know that if i was contamonated with E-Coli I would sue imediatly, i believe that it is sick for a restaurant to still be in buisness with E-Coli contamonating the food.
1. yes, i think the restaurants that have gotten people sick should temperarely close. i also think the retaurants close to or that get food from the same dilivery truck as the contaminated ones should shut down.
2. i think the people who got sick sjould sue the taco bell company, the restaurant itself. the restaurants dont check the food, it gets checked before it gets to them, so i think the suplier should be held responcible.
I think they should shut down the restaurants until they are sure that all contamination is gone. If they keep on selling the E-Coli infected food more people are going to get sick.
If I was a person with medical expenses and lost wages then I would hope Taco Bell would compensate me for my loss.
fmdiar1. Well there are other resteraunts besides Taco Bell that have E. Coli. But they should shut down until all of the bacteria is gone and rid of.
2. I agree with abz. It really depends on the person and his or her views of whether or not to sue. And they should sue because the resteraunt should know better than to serve something with E. Coli infecting it. I hope they feel better!
